ASTM A320 L7 Bolts have been developed to be used in very low temperatures down to minus 65 degrees centigrade or minus 150 degrees Fahrenheit. ASTM A320 L7 bolts perform well in Charpy test in low temperatures and have at least 20ft-lb hardness.
Like other grades of ASTM A320 the L7 grade is very well prepared to be used in high pressure pipe lines, pumps and flanges. these bolts are assembled along with ASTM A194 nuts Grades 4 or 7 and F436 washers.
